Frequently Asked Questions

BEFORE YOU HIRE A CONTRACTOR, THESE ARE A FEW QUESTIONS TO ASK:

Q: Is the company licensed by California Contractors License board? And in what year?
A: We have been in business for more than 30 years since 1987.

Q: Do they have their own crew, trucks and equipments?
A: We do.

Q: Do they carry insurance?
A: We do. Workman’s Compensation and liability.

Q: How do they prep the job before replastering?
A: We strip old plaster down to the gunite. Also we cut out rust spots, rebars and patch with the hydraulic repair mortar.

Q: How long have they been in business under the current ownership?
A: Beware of companies that offer to “match any other prices”. Reputable companies are around for the “long haul” and have nothing to hide. Unfortunately, there are people who are Licensed by the State, but they don’t have their own employees, trucks, equipments and experiences. There are also people who lend their license to others. Check and see if everything you are being told matches: Who owns the License (individual’s name and Doing Business As), physical address, how long they have been in business and the Better Business Bureau.

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE

Q: How much does it cost to have someone come out to my house and give me an estimate to have my pool refinished?
A: There is no charge for an estimate, you simply contact us and ask for a representative to contact you.

Q: How long does it take to have my pool re-plastered?
A: It can take from two to three days just for a replaster. However it can take longer if we have to remodel or have extensive work to do on the plumbing and equipment. A representative can give you a better estimate of the time frame required once your pool needs are determined.
